Can you call them a family? Probably. They'll gladly accept it. Warren started out as waring tribes of orcs and hobgoblins and ogres, and as the dust settled the Warren remained. Raised in litters where parenthood isn't the important bit, they got an unshakable belief in family and community.

The people who only look at their warring past seem to miss the obvious: there’s a strong appreciation of culture and learning that premediates through the warren and an affinity to pick up what others have discarded and make anew.
