The Alamira Free Company

Technically mercenaries, but like the Order of Wildfyre, there is a sense of honour and a code of conduct that restricts them. Unlike the Order, they have retained some independence, and don't work for just anybody. I think they were at the battlefield bc they were hired to help protect a particular neighbourhood or to help escort refugees or something. Their heraldry is an osprey in flight, gold, on an alternating blue and teal field of waves. Hemlock is given one of their shields, partially scorched, both as a form of protection and as a way to identify herself to other Alamiran members she might encounter.

The Azure Wolves

A band of mercenaries with few scruples. Will work for nearly everyone with enough coin, so long as it's not a suicide mission. Wrecked Hemlock's forest, then headed to the battlefield. Their fate there is unknown: Hemlock suspects they saved their own skins and ran fast enough to survive. They have no flag, but their officers, at least, have wolf pelts as part of their uniforms - usually as a fur collar or belt or something. It's dark blue fur: they either dye it, or there are naturally occurring dark blue wolves in this world. Arrok, their commander, has a cloak where the hood is the head of a wolf, meant to make him look like one when he pulls it up.
